i was feeling a bit down in the dumps this week , but reading this board has really cheered me up!
I realise whatever i was feeling a bit down with is nothing compared to the issues people have on this board

Southgate has fallen into the same trap numerous England managers have at tournament time
His failure to pick form players and insistence to pick injured players continues
Please play the players in their natural positions and not try to make square pegs in round holes
He picked Henderson (not played since Feb?) and Maguire because he thinks they performed for him in the past

I,m pleased Ben White is in, hes had a really good season and if he had picked JWP it may have given the team something different
I cant say how Sancho/Bellingham have done in Dortmund so that may something different
I dislike Grealish as a person but his name should be first on team sheet in his position he plays for Villa
Foden / Kane next, the rest take your pick

Coady / Mings should be nowhere near this squad

But **** yeah I'm bought into the excitement of an international tournament. Yes I'm looking forward to the beer, the BBQ's, the mixing with a **** ton of people enjoying the sun, beer, food and footy. And yeah I'll also allow myself to start to believe even though my head says "no ****ing chance with that defence, we aren't good enough". Greece weren't good enough, Denmark weren't good enough, miracles do happen.

I can't wait for this to start and think a month of festivities sounds absolutely bang on.

Really looking forward to this. Love these International tournaments. Only problem is once they get past group stages the games are all on at 11pm or 2am. If we do well I am going to be knackered.
