I will be going, (if i can dont know if the points rule comes in) loads of ex Sunderland players will be playing, it would be great to have about 40,000 they deserve it.

So will I. Tickets available via the FA website. Need to create an account. I've had a look and only East stand on sale at the moment.
    https://ticketing.thefa.com/

    £7.50 adult
    £5 oap/concession
    £2.50 u16

    Great prices to be honest.

Good for the city. Very good pricing. 20,000+ attendance would be excellent.

I think I read that a few years back the all conquering USA Womens Team, was beaten 5-2, by a clubs 15 year old academy side?

Just what level is a womens International side compared to men's sides?

Andy Murray and Serena Williams are friends i believe, she spoke quite openly, that she would struggle to win any points if Andy and played.

I do watch some womens football now, in years gone by my daughter was keen on it... however imho they are not very good, although still enjoyable.

I'm not a fan tbh, barely watch it as it just doesn't hit the spot. If they were playing in me back garden I'd shut the blinds.

Just to level up can I mention the positives.
    These are generalisations of course.

They don't argue with the ref. Shrug of shoulders and get on with it.

When tackled they don't roll about as if they have been shot then jump up, all recovered, when the Ref has awarded them the free kick they didn't deserve in the first place.

    Overall they are more 'sporting'.

And as you said, it can be enjoyable to watch, and sfter supporting SAFC for over 70 years, I don't thing that's a trivial thing.

Got 4 tickets this morning. The ones I got were £15 though. It will be good to see so many of our past players returning to the area and they should all get a good reception.

That's one of the reasons I want to go down, I think it will be a great atmosphere. How come your tickets were 15 quid? They are on for 7.50 for adults. A few more blocks open now from when I got mine.

No idea mate. They are front row seats. I just logged on the fa site, asked for 4 tickets. There was only East Stand Lower Blocks available. The price quoted was £15 and the total cost £62.50 including the postage.

    Just booked 8 tickets, 4 adults @ £7.50, 1 concession @ £5 and 3 juniors @ £2.50, with a £6.20 booking fee.
Was confusing because when I looked last night the adult prices were showing as £15, but £7.50 when I booked today.

Strange that, £7.50 for an adult £5 for concession and £2.50 for mine. Row 9

There are only about 6 blocks on sale so should be all the same price. Might be worth sending an email off to them.

I booked first thing this morning, so probably got them at the previous price of £15. I don't know if there was a premium applied for Row 1 seats or not. I take it you were directed to englandfootball.com from thefa.com site?

Hopefully you get sorted. I didn't get redirected to England football. It was all done on the fa website. Email confirmation was from the fa.com as well.
