The only country to have won a World Cup in football, rugby union and ODI cricket. Celebrate and forget about the pain of the past at least for tonight :emoticon-0167-beer:

Extra time in 66, extra time in 2003 to win the rugby WC and now a super over to win the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup. We don't win finals easily <laugh>

They will sell their best players and get relegated.

We were captained by an Irishman though.

In cricket it's traditional to have commentators from both countries playing. They try and be unbiased but it must be hard in fairness, usually they're given a bit of leeway really. I like it most of the time.

Yeah I did chuckle at that comment. We stuffed NZ a week ago.

The pitches were exactly the type which hindered England and benefited our opponents. If it had been flatter we would have almost certainly comfortably stuffed them. NZ best chance was a difficult low-scoring pitch and batting first. They got all that and we still nicked it.
