No, I was highlighting how ridiculous the whole "most successful..." claims are. It's a line that desperate loonies like Medro like to cling to.
I really liked that guy Endo that swung in the free kick for their third (I think). Neat and tidy throughout, some of his longer passes were beautiful. Glad Giovinco got the winner last night, though, after the Hull fans saying he was pish <fannies>
Was gutted Japan didn't win. Their passing was brilliant, closest anyones been to spain all tournament. Plus I can't stand those cheating, dodgy, greasy itie ****s. Spain V Tahiti tonight. It won't be pretty.
I'm loving the times the games are shown at - the World Cup is going to be ****ing brilliant. Games kicking off in the evening, then at night. Next summer, barbecue gets tidied away along with the paper plates and swally recepticles lying about, go indoors with folk round to watch the first game, kids go to bed, the boys stay about, watch the second game. I'm definitely taking some time off for the WC next year - the kickoff times are almost planned to suit stoners. Magic.
Aye you're no wrong Bib. Weather permitting, that's my exact plans. Major tournaments eh? The only time man has any real control over the TV.
I live with four women. In order to see the Confederations Cup games, you should see the TV concessions I've had to make. Watching ****e like Cake Boss and Honey Boo Boo
**** that My familys full of wummin. My maw being the oldest out of 7 lassies and a boy. **** haein bairns. I'd end up with 4 wee lassies or something <howtoeatabulletbeforeyour65>
Check out the analysis this guy's done on it http://www.ongoalsscored.com/2012/10/13/brazil-2014-kick-off-times-around-the-world/ That is ****ing brilliant. According to that, only 10 games will kick off at that time (I've got some format issues with his infographic but fine work otherwise).
I think I got that wrong. 10 games will kick off at 23:00 BST (GMT+1) but one game will kick off at 2AM. Majority of games will kick off BST 17:00, 20:00 or 21:00 <postbbqtime>
It was the year I left High School. Watched half the games out one eye while I had my hands down Gary O'****'s wee sister's pants. If I'm not mistaken, didn't a future Rangers player win the golden shoe that year?
aye salenko, he shared it with Stoichkov and is the only player to have ever won the golden boot even though his team were eliminated at the group stage.
I thought he had won it outright (and deserved to) because he'd played fewer games than Stoichkov - Bulgaria got to the quarters or something didn't they?
. aye i think bulgaria played 4 or so more games and got pumped in the 3rd place play off, think henke played and scored too. remember hagi and klinsmans goals? was a good tournament.
