Hopefully someone, ANYONE - PLEASE!!! Btw - think we can get at least a draw from this game, going for 1-1.
A win could push us up to 10th. A remarkable turnaround and refreshing change from the last few seasons. Strong and confident performances after the restart. Feels like we could be in for an exciting ride again.
As much as I love Shane I think that it would be beneficial to make Che first choice for the rest of the season. He got the monkey off of his back in emphatic style and must be itching to get on the pitch again and show what he can do. Imagine him and Danny banging in goals regularly...*drools*
That would be Ralph's decision, cos you can bet that Danny will want to play every single second to chase the Golden Boot!. The thing that excites me most about Che is that he has shown a quick football brain, vision and technique with his assists and the way that he instantly took on the shot for goal against City, very Lambertesque.
I was thinking the same and then I remembered that two of those wins were against Norwich and Watford - the City win was awesome though and a great confidence builder
But then you can only beat the team in front of you. Ralph has targetted this game as it is a chance to win 3 PL games in a row for the first time since the end of the 2015-16 season, 4 years and 5 managers ago.
Ralph doesn't need to worry about past records. We can all see what he is trying to do, and the progress we have made. It feels like something kinda special is building once again. I loved that last run Ron put together, but I'll tell you what, each win this season feels like an explosion of joy! This is how you learn to appreciate the good times, and his new four year deal feel like a great place to start. I'm firmly on the bus. Just hope board give him the backing he has earned.
Ralph doesn't need to worry about past records ----------------------- Coming from someone called historyrepeating who's obsessed with stats.
I absolutely agree we are in a new era now, and like most Saints fans it’s the best I’ve felt about the club since Koeman left. But winning 3 in a row is not to be sniffed at!
Man City smashing Newcastle 4-0 now makes tomorrow night the all import decider for top of the bottom half of the table!!!
