When we were 2-0 down at half time, I predicted that he'd head the winner in a 2-3 win for Spurs in front of a number of Gooners in the pub...much to their amusement. I was UNBEARABLE when he scored and most left before the final whistle. One bloke, a rasta called 'Arsenal' was standing next to me when it went in...I jumped up as it nestled in the net...then turned round and he was already leaving the pub.
Mrs B and I were due to have dinner with my father-in-law that night. Mrs B cancelled immediately she heard the result. Palace played later and I was in one of their pubs putting on Chas & Dave songs on the jukebox before, after and probably all night. Nobody got too bothered by it and I have no recollection of getting home.
I will always love the guy for that goal and the run and cross at City.
Get on board and vote for Conor - after all he is one ours and it is the best goal
Blimey, is Coppinger still playing ? He must be 50 (just googled him and he’s 40)
600 league games for Doncaster. Bloody hell. Don't get many players doing that nowadays, especially in the lower leagues.
802 career matches and his only Premier League appearance was his first ever game and it was against us!
Three very good hits.
The first goal has a couple of funny moments. The "Oh, wow!" reaction, followed by the sponsor above the goalscorer being Top Bins!
VDV on Jose
You`ve got to love Rafa.
Scotty Parker looking very elegant again this evening.
In his wife's coat.
Kenny Jackett who was with us for a while 4 years ago, has been sacked by Portsmouth.
Never realised he was at spurs...what did he do with us?
You like any blokes with a side parting.
He worked in our Academy on a part time basis. He left to take the Pompey job.
Cheers... do you think he was good enough to get back ?
Never a wrong time to watch this again.
Feels like Ben Foster has wasted all 14 of those years against us since, the twat!
Really? Not a word from Matt Doherty?
Noni Madueke is in the England U21s squad for the first time. Sess, Skipp and Tanganga all in the squad too, wonder if any of them fancy seeing if he wants to return to Spurs in the summer?
