Dawson and Defoe are the only recent Spurs players other than Ledley,
    who deserve a testimonial game.

Lennon? I'd happily attend a joint Dawson/Lennon testimonial.

I'd happily organise a testimonial for Sissoko if it meant him leaving.

We could field Olympic Not606 v Spurs Legends.

    <ok>.

Just to give you some insight.... Harry Redknapp is patron of a children's hospice in the Bournemouth area. Darren Anderton lives in the Bournemouth area.

The hospice was running a fund raising campaign and Harry invited Anderton to attend a function. Anderton asked how much he would get paid for attending. Harry, quite understandably told him to eff off.

Compare this arrogant attitude to the behaviour of Jermain Defoe on Sunday, gives you some idea of why I see Anderton as a prat.

I recall there was talk of one being arranged for Daws when he left, although unlike our new stadium nothing concrete has been seen or heard since.

    Here's Pritchard's second from today.

Note how it went into the opposition net, not his own.

    Damn you, Adam Smith!

It would be nice if he could celebrate that milestone with some sort of result.

Well, this has certainly shattered my illusions of Anderson being a "nice guy"!

I'd love for Dawson and Defoe to be given testimonials/ joint testimonial at some point.

Dawson gave everything for this club and Defoe gave us some incredible memories and goals. Add on top that both seem like real top blokes.

Ideal scenario - It'll be the first game played at the new stadium in pre-season. We'd sell it out and it's nothing less than JD and Daws would deserve, 60,000 yids showing their full appreciation to two club legends.

In the event they both go down with their respective clubs, i'd like to see them re-join us as back-up. Testimonials for both would then be no-brainers.

Defoe could definitely still do a job.

My only concern for Daws would be that this system suits a more cultured CB and someone with a bit of pace, Daws is your more heart on sleeve and lump it forward type. He'd be great for team morale and leadership but I think he'd struggle with the style of play..
