Seems like the big teams are all at each other at the moment. Ferrari is having a go at McLaren for supposedly blocking the shark fins to spite other teams. McLaren is having a go at Ferrari for going down to 3 PUs. Mercedes is mocking Red Bull for being the reason for going down to 3 PUs. And Red Bull are bound to come out with something in the next 24hrs.

Quite possibly the end for Ericsson then. Unless, no, please Williams don't do it.

Santander have pulled their backing from Ferrrari. Doubt it will make too much of a dent.

Could Williams gamble that the exposure of Kubica driving for them could be good for luring sponsors wanting to be associated with his comeback? Will be a lot of press and TV coverage.

I wonder if McL have tempted them back?

It would be good to see Kubica back but not just for publicity. If he is still good enough he should be back in F1. I really hope he is fit enough and Williams give him a reasonable car next year.

As for reasonable cars anyone know why Toro Rosso got so bad this year? They are not not normally that far back. Do you think Renault were really giving them the bottom of the barrel PUs?

No . I read somewhere they have ended their association with F1 completely , and are putting money into the Champions league.

Tyre selections, notice the compound jump for China?

"It's that time already:The tyre selections for 2018's opening races in Australia, Bahrain and China have been revealed.

    Australia: Soft, Supersoft, Ultrasoft

    Bahrain: Medium, Soft, Supersoft

    China: Medium, Soft, Ultrasoft

A reminder of the rules from Pirelli:

'Each driver must save one set of the softest of the three nominated compounds for Q3. This set will then be returned for those who qualify in the top 10, but the remaining drivers will keep it for the race.

'Each driver must have both these sets available for the race.

'Teams are free to choose the remaining 10 sets, making 13 sets in total for the weekend.'"

If you think about it they have dont have much power in the sport. There are 10 teams and Ferrari have a good 'hold' over Hass and Sauber so they have 30% of the teams loyal to them. Merc are on their own as although they supply engines they don't have much hold over the other teams.
So for the new concord agreement negotiations Ferrari have much more power. Goes to show how much they actually value being in F1 but they want it on their terms!!!
