League Table

Here is what the table looks like after the completion of the fifth round. Best scores of the round were by Mark, myself and the two Fez's with 240 each (this represents 6 winners from 8). Scully still leads from Fez, who has jumped up the table, with myself, Mrs Fez and theghost sharing 3rd place. I'm hopefull that all the equal signs will start disappearing but this may be delayed until the Semis when the scoring system changes. The decisive matches of the last round, as far as our league is concerned, were at Sheff Utd and Fulham which both had a lot of cross tipping. Everyone got Brighton, Man.City, Man. Utd, Burnley correct and only Fez got Blackburn, nobody got Grimsby.​

League Table

Here is the updated league table after the quarter final stage. A slightly nondescript round in that any changes in the table were as a result of the Sheff Utd v Blackburn game, with all others having uniform tipping. In retrospect it might have been better to bring in a scoreline based system for this round, as it stands this comes in for the semis. Shame that Burnley, Grimsby or Fulham couldn't pull off something - though maybe the Blades can go all the way ? The draw for the semi final stage will come on here as soon as possible and will be based on predicted scorelines eg. 2-1, 3-0, 0-1 etc. just as for the other league. In order to avoid complicated scenarios the relevant scoreline is after normal time (ie. 90+ mins.) what happens in any subsequent extra time doesn't count.​

The Semi Finals have now been drawn and will be held over the weekend of 22nd/23rd of April. Will we have to endure an all Manc final ? As always at this stage the tipping changes to a scoreline based one ie. what you think the scoreline will be after normal time (not including extra time) eg. Man City v Sheff Utd 0-4 (yes please) and Brighton v Man. Utd 3-1 (those aren't my final tips by the way !).
