I though that Matt Smith, up front for Bristol(on loan from Fulham), looked a handful.

you gain momentum, confidence, playing time together and it breeds success
There was a feeling at the time of the Europa League exit that Bruce didn't take it as seriously as he might have

I'd like to thank Steve Bruce and the squad for a great weekend. Observing the Cambridge game in the pub on Friday night, her ladyship inquired who we were playing. I reminded her of the pathetic showing at Arsenal a couple of weeks back. Her face lit up: "in that case, you can come and help me choose the new wallpaper and paint for the hall".

Thanks a bloody lot. Watching the spirit and effort other teams put in your effort was embarrassing. Because you didn't care about the cup, I and others like me, have been subjected to all manner of exciting jobs this weekend (on the plus side I dodged shoe shopping). I suggest you get the squad to repaint the parking spaces around the stadium and/or clean the food stands as penance.

He's half decent in the air, other than that he has absolutely nothing. I think he's awful.

That's all he needs to be to play for us. Our strikers never have the ball played in to their feet anyway.

It always amuses me about the Cup competitions, oh this player was solid against Man City, this player was scoring for fun against Chelski etc. Yet if they were doing it every week, they wouldn't be playing in the lower leagues or be looked at by teams such as ourselves & Palace.

Ayala looked completely out of his depth in the Premier League.

A handful of appearances in a struggling Norwich team does not yield sufficient proof of his PL credentials.

He'll get another crack at it - he's only just turned 24.

True, but I also thought he was overrated when he was with us.

The Live FAC 5th round TV games have rightly caused anger in Bradford.

FFS, Bradford City v. Sunderland or Fulham should have been a top pick as another upset is on the cards.

Other than Villa and Foxes fans, who will waste time watching the Aston Villa v Leicester game(BBC) ?
Has Lineker played a part in this one ?

Probably because it's an all PL fixture and it's sort of a midlands derby, a bit.

More than likely. But dont we get enough of them already ?

I hear that Bradford have put in an appeal to a government minister on the subject.

The £250k match fee i suspect has more to do with it. lol.

You're probably right, but the game might get shown on BT Sport (I don't know if they've been announed yet) so they might yet get some money. The BBC tends to go for all PL ties for exactly the reason you mentioned; the other sports channels get loads, but the BBC never get to show any, so when the FA Cup comes around they know that people will want to watch big PL names fighting it out.

West Ham could be chucked out yet as well for playing Sakho after he pulled out of his international commitments due to injury. Would be rather amusing if that's what FIFA said the FA had to do as suddenly the Chesterfield/MK Dons game being replayed looks wrong.

I don't get how they did anything wrong, the ACON started early January, the game Sakho played in was a couple of weeks ago near the end of January. Unless he played in a game straight after he pulled out its all a waste of time. This is one of the reasons I hate is signing Africans as the ACON is right in the middle of our season every couple of years.
