Well I hope those taking part are more organised than me. Forgot there was a match tonight so going in with my provisional placeholder team. Expect my season start as a manager to be as good as Rosie.
Well season over with, I finished a respectable 7th after years of forgetting to do it & when I have, I haven’t utilised the best players I screwed up my cup run a few weeks ago, going out in every league because a crap week. Overall I was doing well 1st in a few leagues at Christmas, then Haaland got injured & I didn’t change him as my Captain, also got my VC wrong too, fell away at that point. Got a 3rd & a 4th in other leagues, so happy with that.
A dull bottom half of the table for me and an early exit from the cup. Did ok on player selection but kept benching the wrong players. I ended up with a low value squad but loads of cash in the bank because I sold Haaland when he got injured and then bought cheap, but not cheap enough to get him back. anyway, well done to the winning teams in both the league and the cup. See you again next season.
There’s another hull city not606 league I see in other player leagues but I’ve never seen it mentioned on the board. I assumed it was set up before my time and keeps renewing each season but I’ve not seen it advertised in here for new players to join. I seem to recall I did ask if there was one before setting this one up. - I’d happily drop this one if the other one opened up again, it feels a bit People’s Front of Judea.
