Interesting, wouldn't have guessed that. I think part of the reason he's in a lot of teams is because he was first choice right back for what, 10 years? 15 years? so he stands out.
Surprised by this ... have met Jason Dodd on numerous occasions and was always a kind fellow, always making time for people.
The last time i see him was in the concourse before a game in the Itchen, he was with Paul Williams. Now bare in mind he is a youth team coach, he walked in turned round to Williams and said "come on you **** lets place these ****ing bets!" not a good example for kids!
I've decided not to pick my favourite XI but the most skillful and entertaining... 'Budgie' Burridge (nutter) Golac Lundekvam M.Wright Dennis Channon Osgood LeTissier George Keegan Worthington
I used to think that 'chicken' George Lawrence was brilliant - one of the first ever Saints Signatures I got
His moment of brilliance was destroying Man Utd. he never recovered from some skinny young lad getting all the credit that night.
Only been going up since '88 so, Niemi Dodd, Killer, Lundekvam, Bridge Le Tiss, Case, Berkovic, Rod Wallace Lambert, Pahars Special mention for Ronnie Ekelund.
------------------Forecast--------------- Jermaine Wright ---Zoltan Liptak--- Darren Powell ---- Jermaine Wright Kosowski ------ Jermaine Wright ---- Jermaine Wright ----- De Ridder ------------- Vince Pericard ------- Tomas Pekhart
------------------Shilton----------------------------------- ------Golac--M.Wright--D.Watson--Bridge--------------- ---D.Wallace--Le Tissier--Schneiderlin--Lallana--------- ----------------Lambert------Channon--------------------- I could have about 40 subs!! Since my first live game in 1978 we really have had some cracking players! PS Lambert & Le Tiss would both have to wear No7 in that team! PSS Just noticed no Steve Williams, Dave Armstrong, Frank Worthington, Kevin Keegan......there are so many more!
