Getting footy abuse from all angles today and I really have no response apart from "we're shhh and we know we are"
I'm not the vindictive type, but, Just start making a note of who what where and when. This will allow you so much more time to craft a monumentally sarcastic response when their team/passion goes pear shaped. Oh and remember to smile broadly as well that always helps.
It's just football banter - pretty sure we'd all do the same if the scenario was reversed. Agree with rhino, take note for future reference and give it back with a smile.
Yep, take it on the chin and hold your head up high. My standard response to Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal etc 'fans' after they've had their say is to ask when they last saw their team play live. Shuts a few of them up.
Sadly I live in Essex and 90% of the banter givers are West Ham regular attendees. I like the pay back options but when. Woe is me! BUT at least I'm not a scummer.
