Nothing, absolutely nothing. McCoist has been a model of dignity since this whole affair began. By Rangers standards that is.
RANGERS last night declared all-out war on the SFA as Ally McCoist demanded the identity of the three anonymous legal experts who sanctioned a 12-month transfer embargo on the stricken club. And Record Sport can reveal that while the manager searched for answers, top-team stalwart Lee McCulloch was ordered by club officials to pull out of an SFA- backed coaching course today. And all this came at the end of a chaotic 24 hours that also saw the club’s supporters launch a number of measures – including a proposed march on Hampden on Saturday – all aimed at hitting back at the game’s governing body following Monday night’s explosive ruling to ban McCoist from signing any new players for a year. He wants the names of those involved in making the decision – a leading QC and two highly-qualified legal minds – to be made public immediately. And this has in turn infuriated the SFA who insist the safety and security of their panel members must come first. Also, Hampden top brass believe McCoist should already know exactly who was involved as a Rangers representative was present at Monday’s verdict.
All out war...by demanding to know the 3 people involved. The good old record. please log in to view this image If he knew the names of the people why would he not just come out and say their names?
It's either because he is really, really, really, really stupid Or He wants moronic elements of his fan base to intimidate the appeal panel No wonder the police were concerned for the safety of these men....Rangers fans tried to kill Neil Lennon just for winning an Old Firm match...
Or the more plausible, he didn't know and wanted the SFA to tell everyone. I don't think Lennon was targeted for winning an Old Firm game, he was targeted for being Neil Lennon.
So he never thought to ask the guy who reported the findings to him.....he waited until a camera was infront of him and asked the fans to find out Funny, it wasn't Dundee United fans or Referees who sent him a bomb...just hurting Rangers fans...no wonder you got a by into the 3rd division
“Plain and simply, I think it is an absolutely shocking decision,” “This decision could kill our football club, simple as that. Make no mistake about it.” “shocked and absolutely appalled by supposedly independent judicial panel was coming down on us”. “Who are these people? I want to know who these people are,” “I’m a Rangers supporter and the Rangers supporters and the Scottish public deserve to know who these people are, people who are working for the SFA. Make no mistake about it, this is an SFA decision. They have appointed the panel so therefore they are working for the SFA, but who are they? “I think we have a right to know who is handing out this punishment to us, I really do.” Yet he knew all along who they were.
He was a rabid lifelong rangers fan, a now defunct club. He was employed at rfc boys club before he was at Celtic. Celtic boys club was not affiliated to Celtic and as such people at the boys club had nothing to do with Celtic.
Remember the SFA wanted to keep the names of these people anonymous. So I'm guessing they wouldn't tell Ally who the panel were and so he publically asked the SFA to name the people. He did not ask fans to find out. Rememeber Lennon got gubbed during a match, was that down to football results as well. No? Did he really? How do you know this. Do you honestly think that mcCoist wanted the Rangers fans gathering up with pitchforks and torches to find out who was on this panel? Or do you maybe think he wanted the SFA to show a little bit of transparency that they so often speak about. This is not true and you know it.
Of course. Only an utter ****wit would think otherwise. What would be the advantage in knowing these people's names without the intention of pressurising them? Would that reduce the fine (only £60k more than we were fined for "tapping" Tommy Burns)? I sometimes think you actually believe the somersaulty justifications you make to yourself.
isnt the issue here that there was a rangers rep present at the meeting and, thereforem mccoist actually already knew or could easily have asked who they were it was rabble rousing - but thats not the worst crime in the world
Rangers were given the names of the 3 panel members in advance of the hearing (in case Rangers had any objections to the individuals on the commitee). During the 6 days of the hearing, representatives from Duff and Phelps and Rangers FC were in attendance EVERY DAY, so Ally McCoist KNEW who the 3 man panel were. "I want to know who these people are" "the Rangers supporters and the Scottish public deserve to know who these people are". Yet he already knew. He's a coward.
So Duff & Phelps and this Rangers rep knew who it was!?! Therefore McCoist MUST have knew. That's you jumping to conclusions. Do you honestly think McCoist wanted a mob hunting these people down for whatever reason. Honest answer please.
