No, it's just that you probably won't like it.

Anyone seen Requiem for a Dream?
That's a pretty brutal film, they should show it to schoolkids to put them off trying heroin.

The second list is my list. I posted those because they are all excellent post 2000 foreign language films. I posted it because Mick Dumbdee said all films after 2000 were pish.

Nothing pretentious about it. I have watched all those films and they are all excellent.

I dont need to use google to know the original IT wasn't a film. Or Gangs of New York and Source Code were made after 2000.

    Why is that?

Because I know my stuff and you dont.

I've watched loads of films with drugs use and never used them. But then I don't let films shape my life. They're only acting after all.

I agree but always watch Forest Gump with a box of chocolates so I suppose I'm a hypocrite.

I knew that too but the title of this thread is films not books or series or tv programmes !!! that's the clue!!!! , so don't play the I know more about films card .

the sad fact is I do not agree with you because I don't like your choices .. the films ive listed demonstrate I know a good film. This isn't a willy waving exercise you juvenile delinquent . I'm simply making a claim that I don't like many movies in the past 20 years because I believe they've gone downhill. Im not alone on this either mate.

good because now I know never to listen to one of your film suggestions … it doesn't mean you don't like the films but it means I don't
