And that's without the scientific inaccuracies and plot holes Ern will point out to us once he's seen it. Offffffttttttt!!
Does it try and pass itself off as an intelligent movie, but then have the most implausibly stupid 'best in their field' scientists that have the mental acuity of 4 year olds so the movies plot can move on? Or is it like cocaine bear, a movie that knows it's stupid and doesn't try and pretend to be clever?
What did you ask for then lol Btw do you apply the same logic when you read the words 'science fiction'?
Rebus. New series that's much more faithful to the books than previous outings. At least this Rebus could have well been a Para and an SAS wannabe. Gritty and dark and really quite good. 7/10
Yeh I posted similar on Friday. Didn't think it was good at all tbh but Dier is right about it being ok for a CGI fest. Have you watched the japanese one? Godzilla minus one. It's decent imo.
Actually I have. Thought it was actually really good. Superior to the recent run of US made films. As I have said in here on countless occasions, the original foreign language films are 99.9% of the time far better than their English remake. Ringu, Old Boy, The girl with the dragon Tattoo, to name but a few are all excellent and their remakes don't come close. Too bad for some folk who can't watch films with subtitles. They really are missing out.
Watched Baby Reindeer over the weekend. Some mad (desperate, vulnerable) ****ers out there, fair play. 8.65/10
An hour into The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Whogivesashit and I'm bored rigid. Dull monotonous garbage, seriously considering switching it off. Would've been better off putting on Kelly's Heroes or The Dirty Dozen. This is awful.
Oh, do the characters use logic and reason? Or didn't it use enough hand wavium? Is that why you didn't like it?
