Wow, when monies unlimited I suppose theres little risk, but five years. If the mans happy, he's staying, but if things don't work out right, this will be the biggest compensation package ever, by a mile! I like RM, did fantastic last season pipping Utd, but, we shouldn't forget how close it was to finishing second. Or the fact he fell out with two massive players, nearly prematurely ending their City careers......right or wrong. Glad he's staying, just don't get the overly committed contract. One things for sure, he is not going to get poached by another club...........unless he fancies a big mud hole in Russia that is.
unlike your lot who sack them after winning the CL Sack them after winning the PL Sack them after winning the FA Cup Sack them after getting to the final of the CL When exactly is a managers job safe at Chelsea? he even got rid of Jose
Mancini certainly isnt the next bill shankly but stability is more important at the moment despite the medias unveiled attempts to get rid of him
In three full seasons he has won the premier league once and been runner up twice, won the FA cup once and been runner up once. These owners are worse than Chelseas.
Tactically inept and putting out totally unmotivated teams made his position untenable Given similar circumstances I would expect Big Fat Sam to have achieved just as much as Mancini Shankly or Fergie he wasn't
That would be good under normal circumstances, but City have spent A LOT of money and this year they didn't even manage to compete, lost a final to a team which will probably be relegated and failed to qualify in the UCL. The sacking is not surprising and I would say it's even deserved.
