2-Holly Goquickly Dark horse this yet to race filly, but is trained in Ireland by the under rated Willie McCreery who I am told likes her a lot
3-Pride And Power Though not mentioned in the Racing Post Karl Burke Stable tour, am led to believe this Frankel filly is smart
5-London City Ballydoyle colt finished unplaced in both juvenile runs but looked a stayer in the making
Another Justify (sire of City of Troy) and the dam, Winter, won the English and Irish 1000 Gns, Coronation Stakes and Nassau Stakes. Started 9/4 in both 2yo races so must have been showing something at home. Interesting that in the first race, AOB had 2 runners (Ryan Moore on London City) and JOB had the winner and, in the second race AOB had 3 runners in the race and won with one of them (with JOB having the 2nd home) - London City ridden by C T Keane Could read anything into that but quite likely Moore knew he was a good'un and gave it a nice introduction (he didn't ride anything else in the second outing), so it will be interesting to see if he is re-united with London City this season
6-Divine Presence Gosden filly who though only 4th on debut just before Christmas shaped nicely to my eyes
She's entered in the Oaks next month. 100/1 at present but that won't last long if she wins her maiden on Friday
7-Sailawaywithme French filly who had only one run as a 2 year old [4th] and could be a dark horse in some good races this summer
Interesting that one G1. How did you spot that one? Did you see the race? I remember the grand sire Singspiel; a real tough one he was. Got excited when I saw the dam's name contained the word Noblesse but haven't been able to find the pedigree to see if there is a connection. The dam hasn't had much luck so far, producing 3 winners from 11 runners. Strange that the highest rated one (108) didn't win a race in 19 attempts
Yes she wasn’t beaten far in a Deauville maiden end of last Autumn and looked in need of a step up in distance , form of race not really been franked though the winner has not run again yet
Can't wait to see this one today. Already into 5/1 for the 1000 Gns in anticipation of an impressive display and could be fav after today
Beaten a neck but would have won if not running around when challenging the winner a furlong out Think the 7-1 for the Guineas is now worth risking
