This couple from George Best tickled me.

Just glad you enjoyed it mate. That feller near the beginning who said 'He's the best in the world. Honestly, the best in the world' - I think that's Jackie Milburn. Gazza was, for me, the best English all-round player I'd seen since Sir Tom Finney.

 

I always liked the reply of George Best on the Parkinson Show when asked "What's the nearest to a big game that you had sex"? and George replied "Half time"!

Like others before him, it is such a shame they never fulfilled their true potential.

 

The stand out one for me has to be Shankly. He was asked if he wanted to manage the biggest club in England and he asked if Matt (Busby) had resigned.

 

I liked this one from Shanks.
