Then they'll walk away mate. Pretty simple, they aren't about to get into a publicly acrimonious situation over a football club that they have no personal affiliation to, and with a person who makes their life difficult. Their reputation is worth everything, we are a personal fancy of 3 people who have things that they will never risk on a project like this. I remember someone getting shafted in my industry by a VC, the deal was worth about $650m, so obviously worth the collateral damage to their reputation. That VC can't even exist in this sector anymore, because they shafted the owners of the business so badly. I just don't see them exercising any nuclear clauses because the reward doesn't remotely justify the risk for them. They'll never do an easy deal again if they show a willingness to twist the knife.
Still a few days until the end of February, just been held up by all that due diligence and that as there's loads of quality buyers queuing up at the door
I was standing watching my son play sunday league, I was talking to Lee Howey (our sons played for the same team) about Niall Quinn possibly bringing a consortium in to take back over from Ellis Short....he gave me a few snippets from what he had heard....when I got back in the house Stewart Donald was the new owner! Anything could be happening that we dont know about and could be announced this afternoon....be it the Americans or not.
It’s not I’m assuming bud, somebody said early on it’ll be done in a couple of months, hence end of Feb. Donald Needn’t be talking to anyone for all we know.
Don't believe a word from those three, just best to keep repeating what they've said until something happens.
At the Sunderland v Southend in October 2018 Mrs K was engaged in a long conversation with Juan Sartori which was all filmed. She was asked to sign a disclaimer afterwards. If she’s on I’ll let you know!
