I'm only using 'hot' condiments these days, all kinds of hot sauces, chilli sauces, tabasco. Been going through all the off the shelf ones in the supermarkets. None of them are actually hot though so might have to look at some specialist websites to find ones that properly burn. Don't know if I just have a high tolerance for chilli and hot stuff. Someone said that if you were exposed to it when you were young you build up resistance to it, which would make sense as I remember as a kid eating different kinds of raw chillis out of curiosity. I usually just look on the bottle and if it says fridge I put it in.
Tabasco is brilliant for everything. If you want a really hot chilli sauce that’s got tonnes of flavour, check out this stuff. 7 Bells is the hottest one he does. https://rockjamspice.co.uk/
Agree, all tabasco is great. I think I prefer the green one, it's the least hot but the flavour is real nice. Cheers for the suggestion, will have a browse
Just checked and he hasn’t got the 7 bells on his website Send him an email bro and I’m sure he’ll post it out though. it’s amazing stuff.
The key to a happy relationship and not putting salt in the fridge is you act like a complete **** for the 1st few years then soften up. By that time you should get it all your own way anyway.
General rule ... if they contain vinegar they probably don't need refrigeration ... or it won't really increase the longevity markedly, so probably not worth wasting the fridge space
It depends, going to eat them soon, keep them out of the fridge they'll taste better, otherwise fridge to keep them a bit longer. You want the freezer for that.
We've got both Ketchup and Brown Sauce in the fridge is all. Never touch ketchup anyway but do have brown sauce, seems fine from the fridge. All barbecue sauces are in the fridge as well. Eggs are in the big porcelain chicken on the worktop, not the fridge. Although got no issue with them being in the fridge?
Can't lie I've often made tea and luckily the kettle is too big to put in the door where the milk usually goes, if it did it'd go in there by accident all the time
