to celebrate the london voodoo finally ending...its headphones on for a bit of jimi hendrix, and vooooooodoo child'....and a pint of london pride
Phillips and Dallas played well in the middle, they did a lot of the dirty stuff between them. Roberts got a bit of a second wind after I felt he was getting clumsy. He is definitely getting better, he’s a typical Bielsa player
Bamford interview... Said he was struggling a bit tonight, he’s legs packed in after 70 minutes. He thinks VAR is sucking the life out of the game. Humble about no England call up, happy with how this season has treated him.
Boris Johnson, Suckdick khan, Kweer Starmer, Trafalgar Square, Diane Flabbot, Nelson's Column, Jeremy Corbyn, your boys took one hell of a beating
We've just pizzed on their chips tonight haven't we. They be ok they can get some more at Preston next season. Finally all the London hoodoo shyte can now be put under the carpet We now will be undefeated till next season on London soil what a run. Typical Leeds tonight hard working flashes of brilliance, a goal conceded by a set piece. That's us safe now if it wasn't already time to start planning for next season.
Lets bust some myths, Leeds can't win in London -BUSTED Bamford is not a prem striker- BUSTED Leeds will suffer Bielsa burnout-BUSTED To all the wristies chuck yer blades in the bin we are safe. The toon owe us a lot of newkie brown (send it to Shako) 45 minutes in the car did the trick. And the pubs are open here till 10-30 tomorrow bring it on MOT.
Meslier - 9. Save of the season 1st half. Couple of decent saves to back it up. Came for high balls to release pressure on the defence. Distribution has been faultless since the Arsenal debacle. Ayling - 7. Our best defender on the day. Scored a wonder goal only for VAR to step in. Has to stop losing his man at corners which was the only significant blot on his copybook today. Llorente - 7. A shaky moment first half where he failed to deal with a high ball was the anomaly in another promising performance. Struijk - 5. Worst performance of an impressive season. Looked uncertain and a bit nervy on more than one occasion which on another day could have cost us. Hopefully learns from it because we need a physical centre half to complement Llorente's cleverness. Alioski - 5. Had a rough first half where he didn't seem to put a foot right. Improved after the break and although never looked on form still managed to back up Raphinha well on that left hand side. Almost scored late on. Phillips - 9. Master class in that holding position. His tackle in midfield that set up the Raphinha winner was a thing of beauty. Dallas - 7. Tireless. Another display of side before self from him. Does lots of stuff off the ball that warrants the respect of those around him. Roberts - 6. In a run of decent form. Didn't quite come off for him tonight but unlucky to be just offside before playing the ball to Ayling and played some outstanding passes in the final third. Had the courage to keep trying those risky passes despite them not always coming off which is what we need. He might just be turning in to the player we hoped he would. Harrison - 8. His best performance for a while. Showed all the qualities we know he has. Bagged an assist for the Bamford goal. Made some important defensive plays and helped keep Lookman quiet. Raphinha - 8. Scored the winner. Had another couple of half chances. Great workrate. Does have a tendency to drift out of the game at times but when he is hot he is world class. Bamford - 9. Goal and assist. Got in behind a couple of times and held the ball up well. Ran his socks off. On this performance it looks like Southgate might be kicking himself tonight. Subs. Klich - 6. Hustled and bustled but still looks a bit short of pace. Might still be carrying a niggle. Koch - n/a. Couple of minutes will do him the world of good after a long lay off.
He was less than 10 yds away when that twat went for Raphinha, Ayling should approached the ref, him being the Captain and he has a right to ask the ref for an explanation over that tackle, very sub standard refereeing.
Yes got to agree over Scott Parker, a very level headed guy, honest over the game and who was the best side.
Fulham might just have too many loan players, Mitrovic wouldn’t last 10 minutes with Bielsa if they all gave 100% they’d stay up but sadly for them there are a few not giving it their all
Back to the VAR stuff, What do we prefer, ref lino make the decision on the pitch end of, argue it in the pub later with the replays. VAR decide after refs decision to allow or not, because of an armpit hair offside etc. I know which I prefer, the first one. Just as it's allways been. Football should be the same for everyone, whether it be champions league or school playground.
They need to forget the vertical lines with armpits, one straight line measuring the foot only, I’d accept that
