Whyte certainly did nothing in the fight to suggest he'd earned a rematch. If anything, helping him to the floor saved him further damage.
Agreed, he doesn't deserve and shouldn't get a rematch. I was expecting so much more from a man that's waiting so long for his shot
I've just rewatxhed the fight again and I'm still waiting on this master-class I keep hearing fury put on? It was a terrible bitty fight that fury was edging. Fury was the first to throw illegal shots and threw nothing of any note until that uppercut. It's mental how a media set narrative can make people see and believe things that just didn't happen. He was banned from sports personality of the year for his comments on gay people and got caught using peds. The man has a great PR team and a willing public. Most overrated fighter since his namesake.
I doubt we'll be seeing Price Naseem making a comeback any time soon... please log in to view this image
Fury's being gentle with his mate, as he's clearly a class above. This is more of a bit of sparring for him, and giving the crowd a bit of value for their money.
It was the expected call outs, but as soon as they thought the cameras were away from them, it was smiles and handshakes. It's a bit WWF, but it gets bums on seats rather than in the ring.
