He would have been released on a free, aged 18.Then someone like Bristol City would have picked him up, then sold him on for Millions.
The same as will happen to JM. He'll be back north of the border in a few days and we'll never get the chance to see what he could bring to the club. He displayed some great skill on Thursday and some of his passing was sublime - I'm just pleased I was able to see it and I'm sure he will go on to become a very successful player, but NOT if he stays at CR!!! My hopes of seeing this 'dynasty' are fading VERY rapidly and I'm convinced we'll NEVER see it if the current board/manager stay in charge of our great club!!!!
This, from a MFW column written back in November, but just as poignant today http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...l-club/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
Absolutely Cromer and unfortunately Delia and co need 'to wake up and smell the coffee' re what's happening in the football world away from CR. I'm with FML and it's really hurting to see the spirit of togetherness that was so obvious during the 2010-2012 season disintegrating So rapidly.
Just watched this. Fabulous display from Everton. 3rd and 4th goals by teenagers. Bloody youngsters, eh?
