Noble as that article was, it didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. It was obviously aimed at people too stupid to understand how it all works, in which case, they probably can't read anyway.

The bit that intrigued me was to do with not being able to afford Dijks. No Wildschut = 1 Dijks...voila! Clearly this was not attributable to the current team, and one would hope they wouldn't have been so damn lacking in vision.

 

Not really a secret, I only have 3 real friends on here, ones that I have met, one no longer posts, one is you so if it wasn't you, you'll know who it was!

I am pretty sure this is a football thread, not a pissing contest thread. This site is down to the bare bones in terms of posters, some days there are posts on only two or three threads.I want this site to thrive, the coloured alternative is unthinkable, but the truth is that our membership is falling drastically.

 

Unfortunately many who have left didn't have very thick skins, took everything personally then flounced off !

 

The problem, as I see it, is we are ALL supposed to be on the same side, but schisms appear, factions evolve, sides are taken reality is suspended. We are slowly sinking into oblivion. On a football related thread every post should be football related, the ideas and thought, however offside, of the poster. To attack that poster for those thought goes against the very reason this site exists.

 

GE - if we all agreed on everything there would be no point to the forum, I do take your point about other content on a football thread though, and as for falling out, KIO and I have had massive fallings out but we're still what I would call friends, even if he does vote Tory!
