So can anyone explain to me the logic (and fairness) in allowing 700 fans to a rugby game yesterday - while refusing Celtic's request for a 'dummy run' of 1000 for their game vs the Mothers to check the mechanics of fans returning to grounds? Please. https://www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/spor...-government---rugby-fans-allowed-murrayfield/ edit - 2,500 fans allowed into the Amex later today for a pre-season friendly Brighton vs Chelsea. Small steps, etc.
Scottish football is experiencing Sturgeon's wrath following the Aberdeen outbreak. She clearly has more trust in Scottish Rugby and its fans. She obviously wouldn't say it, but she'd probably anyway like to have Celtic and Rangers playing permanently behind closed doors ........
He didn't score, but he started the counter-attack from which the Us scored the winner! "Former Canary Wes Hoolahan cleared a Lankester corner from the right and Mullin broke quickly pacing past Smith, hardly the first time during pre-season Town have been caught on the counter-attack. The former Morecambe man looked to have taken it too wide and his shot from the left hit the far post but ex-Blue Digby was on hand to slam in the rebound from six yards."
Phil Foden and Mason Greenwood are to leave the England camp after an "unacceptable" breach of coronavirus quarantine guidelines in Iceland. The Football Association is investigating the breaches after Saturday's 1-0 Nations League victory. Manchester City midfielder Foden, 20, and Manchester United forward Greenwood, 18, both made their senior international debuts in the game. Same old, same old, brainless footballers
A decent player laid low by a succession of injuries. Borussia Monchengladbach paid £9m for him in 2015, almost certainly equivalent to £10m in today's currency. He didn't ask to come to Carrow Road and the ridicule and abuse handed out to him has been a disgrace. Here's a video of 5 of his best goals.
