Somehow I've always been alright getting out of bunkers. It's probably my ability to be able to hit so far under a ball that sees me ok. During lockdown when the golf courses reopened I was playing 4 times a week and managed to take 10 shots off my handicap, hard to keep up with it now though, it doesn't get easier the better you get.
Tell me about it! I’ve only ever had two or three decent rounds and they’ve seen my handicap cut by 9 strokes! I struggle back up over the months, then one decent round and “boom” back down again ..... it’s the hope that kills you, as they say!
I think the majority of us want to get it down, unless you're happy with being a bandit. Problem with the handicap system is it goes off what you're capable of rather than an average.
https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/worl...-pro-trump-comments/ar-BB19BpKI?ocid=msedgdhp This cyclist is 19. He has been suspended by his team for tweeting a pro-Trump sentiment. My feeling is that any 19 year old supporting Trump has got something missing from their interior being. He needs serious counselling if his thinking is this warped.
Dont see how age comes into it....Trump has a lot of young supporters. Am more puzzled that he has any....would take me only a couple of sentences to realise he is a dangerous idiot. I am a Conservative voter, but even find the Democrats too far right for me.
These young supporters´of Trump really need to be taken to correction centres. What is wrong with many youth supporting right-wing parties? It was unheard of back in the 60s or 70s.
As the saying goes....if you don't support Labour when young, you have no heart....if you still support them when older, you have no brain.
Back to the point, is it justified to suspend/sack a team member for their polítical beliefs? If the views of this person, incite división, racism and violence, which in this case they do, then the team is justified in the position it has taken up.
Not in my opinion. Political beliefs are up to the individual, as are beliefs of religion, sexuality, etc. However, if they use their position to incite division, hate, violence, etc, then it IS justified. My three-penny worth .....
Just finished watching. Incredible documentary. Armstrong was a a bad man, a cheat, a villain, a bully, an incredible athlete and a hero all rolled into one. He is a very complex man.
The mere fact that the athlete in question endorsed Trump meant that he is a supporter of a man who as you say incites division, hate and violence.
His dad owns the track and is also seen in that video trying to take lumps out of the other driver. I don't think that track will be used for quite some time, if ever!
I read somewhere that Button said they should be banned for life , he ( the Father shoved the opponent into a wall ) . I agree !
Good! Just talked to my boy about it and he says the same. The “kid’s” dad (the racers were 28 and 26 respectively) owns the track which the FIA pay him for using (or did). Seems they were fighting over 12/13th place so not exactly worth getting banned for ......
