    It's a lot of cash, but he is the stand out player for Real Madrid still. I think it would take more, plus the French league is still not the greatest.

    He's been around for ****ing ever. I remember him making his Chelsea debut, I think from memory away vs *Charlton. That seems yonks ago.

    On reflection it probably wouldve been about 14 years if he was a young kid.

    *I swear I havent looked that up if it's right.

    Ah, the one I'm on about is starting the next season 4 months later as first choice away to Charlton.

    I dont think we need to replace him. Surely even with Harper going and if McGregor goes we've still got The Jak and Oxley as back-up to a new first choice. Actually there's a thought, is it time for one of them to be first choice? I wouldnt mind The Jak actually. He's mental but it would be entertaining and Oxley defo doesnt want to be 3rd choice any more at his stage.

    Has he still got that glass back or has he been playing regularly? Someone at the club told me he'd never be able to have a good career because of it. Either way, I'm quite excited about The Jak as first choice. Go on, tell me it wouldnt be amazing. Didnt he get PotY at Orient or something?

    I can see a new cult hero to replace Macca.

    I believe it was our goalkeeping coach who christened him Mark 'Glass-back' Oxley, no such problems this season, 45 appearances for Hibs.

    BREAKING: Sami Khedira has reportedly passed a medical with Juventus.

    Carlton Cole, Guy Demel, Jussi Jaaskelainen and Nene will all leave West Ham on the 30th June on contract end.

    Bournemouth have signed out-of-contract Blackburn Rovers striker Joshua King with a fee to be settled by a tribunal.
