He has thanked the new physio, Danny Murphy, for resolving his hamstring problems which he has suffered for the past couple of months.

On scoring his goal, he mentioned that he put the ball under his shirt due to the fact that his partner is pregnant. He went on to say that he accepts he will be fined for it, but he does not care.

Since when do you get fined for putting the ball under the shirt; which stupid moron at the FA thought of that rule? Does anyone know why he will be fined? I thought he was very good in his time on the pitch, long may it continue.

Lapslie did well when he came on v Luton. He needs to add to his game, particularly around passing. He could learn from watching the likes of Conor Gallagher, who is younger than him...

i think he'll just develop from being in and around the first team. it happens to every loan player we've had (beliek, gallagher, cullen). why cant we improve our own? - give them the same treatment as loans and we'll save/earn a fortune

The 3 loans you mention were all good players though, better than what we had. Bowyer doesn't give preferential treatment to loanees, or Smith and McGeady would have been used. I expect Pratley to replace Davis as well when his back is OK. If the kids are good enough he'll play them, like Doughty. Although I would have had Davison ahead of Hemed.

I would loan Davison out to Bromley for the rest of the season and give him another 12 month contract.

Woefully, embarrassingly out of his depth yesterday.

I said it 12 months ago - Albie Morgan is a far more naturally gifted footballer than Lapslie.

And yet Morgan has been bombed out ?

Have a feeling that Morgan is the new Fosu.. pre his stupid like for Grant's goal … he had obviously done something to upset Bow.

To my knowledge he's the only player to be publicly criticised by Bowyer, albeit to a journalist. Fosu was a bit different, I think it must have been Bowyer who upset him, he got plenty of chances but lacked effort and was dropped eventually. As far as yesterday is concerned Lapslie was poor but Williams was also shocking, and ended the first half with a pathetic dive which was more deserving of a booking than Taylor's which I thought was a mistake.

He was average 4 years ago, and he’s still average now.

He has never had an X factor in his game …being released by the Gills kind of sums it up.
