Well, the good thing is that no one knows what Klopp is thinking - which is different to the previous regime where you could guarantee what Rodgers would do, and teams were leaked a day before the match.

Your goal keeper is as good as your defenders .If the ball can stop coming to the back there wouldn't be a goal. ALL the players need to be proactive and play as a unit. Many times I have seen Sturridge defending

Wijnaldum: How Klopp has Reds midfield thriving
    David Lynch @LynchMDavid
Georginio Wijnaldum has offered a fascinating insight into the flexible nature of Liverpool's midfield setup under Jürgen Klopp this season.
The Dutchman has started as part of a central three alongside Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson in each of the Reds' six Premier League fixtures so far this term.
On paper, that trio perhaps appears to offer more in terms of attacking threat than defensive protection, but they have looked a balanced unit during a strong start to the campaign.
And Wijnaldum has explained just what Klopp is asking the men in the engine room to do.
"He doesn’t really give a lot of jobs to players. He tells me to be free and play how I can play. But sometimes it is different," he told Liverpoolfc.com.
"It depends on what the other players are doing. You have to look at the other players. For example, if Lallana goes forward and Henderson also goes, I have to stay.
"Sometimes I have to get used to it because, normally, I’m the one who goes all the time. Now, I have to also look at the other players.
"That’s the thing that has changed the most in my way of football – that I have to look more at the other players."

Getting the right mix between supporting the forwards and protecting the defence is not always easy, though, as Wijnaldum admits.
He added: "It is difficult and it still is. In the teams where I played before, I was the one who was running all the time to make a goal and I came into more positions to make goals.
"Now it’s not so often, it’s a few times in a game. But we have more players to come into that position, so more players who can score a goal.
"I think that’s better for the team, because if you only have one player who can score goals it can be a problem.
"We have more players who can come into that position and have the quality to score goals. It makes it easier for the team."
Although he has yet to notch his first goal for the club, Wijnaldum has enjoyed a quietly impressive start to his time at Anfield.
But the 25-year-old sets high standards for himself, and says that he can do even more as he adapts to life at a new club.
"I already have a good feeling but not the feeling I will have when I’ve been at the club for a few months," he insisted.
"It always takes me time but it has gone well so far, everyone is trying to help me, not only the players but also the coaches and the physios.
"Everyone here is doing their best to give me a good feeling and it gives me a good feeling. Step-by-step, I will have the best feeling.
"It must be better and I know I can be better, because I can show a lot more than I already showed. Unfortunately, sometimes it will take time.
"That’s how it is and that’s why I have confidence and faith in my qualities – it will come. It’s a nice squad with good coaches and everything is here to be a better player.
"So I look forward to that with a lot of confidence and faith and I’m happy to be here. I feel blessed that I can be here."
Gini's delight at being able to represent the Reds appears to have been further boosted by the quality of his teammates, whom he cannot speak highly enough of.
"You can see how good the players are," he enthused.
"Before this, I didn’t have a clue how good everyone is, but now that I train with them every day I can see how good everyone is – it’s a really talented group.
"And also the young players who come to the first team are talented. Everything has surprised me."

Gini: Why Reds' performances this season have me excited
Confidence in the Liverpool camp during an encouraging start to the season has been further boosted by the effectiveness of Jürgen Klopp's tactics, Georginio Wijnaldum has revealed.

The Reds have impressed in the early stages of 2016-17, netting a remarkable 24 goals in eight games to claim six victories and create a strong base in both the Premier League and EFL Cup.

Wijnaldum, who has played a key role in Klopp's team hitting the ground running, says he and his teammates are just as pleased with the manner of their performances as they are the results.

And the Dutchman explained that the players' faith in their approach has never wavered, even in the aftermath of the only two games they have failed to win this term.

"[The dressing room spirit] is really good at the moment, especially [because] we are winning games and [with] how we are winning games - with good football and counter-pressing," he told Liverpoolfc.com.

"The things we want to do on the field, everything works, so the feeling is good.

"Even after the draw with Tottenham or the game we lost [at Burnley], I don’t want to say the feeling was good at that moment but we still had confidence and that shows that we have faith in each other.

"We were disappointed but it was not the end of the world, we had confidence after those two results."

Next up for Liverpool is a trip to the Liberty Stadium to face a Swansea City side who have just one win to their name in the Premier League thus far.

But Wijnaldum knows that Francesco Guidolin's team will be looking to use their meeting with the Reds as a springboard to improvement.

"It's always like that when you're not in a good situation and a big team comes to your [home ground], you always have the feeling that if we win it will help us [improve]," he added.

"We must be sharp because they might not have started well but they have a really good team and good players.

"Because they are low in the standings doesn't mean we are going to win easy because they're a tough team to beat."

LFCTV GO: Gini Wijnaldum previews trip to Swansea

It has been suggested that the Reds' hopes of enjoying a successful league campaign this term have been boosted by their lack of European football.

Although Gini wasn't at the club last season, he has heard all about the fixture pile-up that at times appeared to prove detrimental to the Reds' chances of reaching the upper echelons of the Premier League last time around.

And he believes more time on the training pitch in 2016-17, as well as a decreased chance of injuries, could prove positive.

"Last season there were a lot of games and normally that's not really a problem but they had a few injuries so that makes it a problem, especially at the end of the season," he continued.

"If you play that many games with the same players, at the end of the year you're going to be tired. I think that was the biggest problem they had last season.

"When I speak with players who played last season, they all say the same – that it was a lot of games, they didn't train a lot and it was difficult because the squad was not that big and they had injuries.

"As a footballer, you want to play as many games as possible because that's what you’re training for, to play games and develop yourself as a player. But sometimes it's also good to play less games to put in a better performance on the field.
