A sprawling mess. LA that is. Brid is a condensed mess. Is anyone going to commit heresy and say Los Angeles, or anywhere else, is better than 'Ull?
Maybe alright for a visit. But, the way I see it, if you go to live there L.A. is just a great big freeway. You are tempted to put a hundred down and buy a car, then in a week, maybe two, you think they'll make you a star. But the weeks turn into years. How quck they pass and you join all the other stars that never were, parking cars and pumping gas
Gerard had already made it. Access to great skiing, beautiful beaches, surfing, wind surfing, Great sea fishing. Museums. Art galleries. Beautiful places like Malibu and Laguna Beach. Every sort of cuisine you can think of. Great places to take the kids, Disneyland, universal studios knotsberry farm etc etc It seems Gerard was coming home to England every few weeks. Piss poor show that.
Imagine the ego clash if MK Dons employed them both and said sort it out yourselves but one of you has to be assistant?
Last time California had a big one, they had all the damage repaired in a couple of months. If it was blighty, they'd still be arguing the toss about who does what, even now.
We would have to have risk assessments, cordon it off for a few weeks and then have people proceeding at a leisurely pace. Like a lot of the improvements in Hull at the moment. And Brid as well.
Going into Hull City centre tomorrow for the first time in ages...Wonder if I'll see much improvement since the last time? Doubt it, somehow.
thought he might have rejoined Liverpool in January and gone on till May.. Looks like they might win PL this season.........he might miss out on a PL winners medal.
