    I saw Joe a couple of times in Leeds (not at Elland Road) and once in Sheffield. Not once did anyone utter "JC". We were P.C. in those days :emoticon-0100-smile:emoticon-0105-wink:

    Before our our cup semi I saw the big guy from The Chase, Mark Labbett, on Wembley Way, even before we handed them their backsides he had a face like a smacked arse - miserable, fat ****er him.

    Saw him getting out of a taxi close to Wembley with his hangers-on in tow...Huge mother of a bloke. The taxi's suspension sighed as he climbed out.

    I took the missus for a luxury spa weekend at Raithwaite Hall, near Whitby, a couple of years back and as we were checking out, John Cooper Clarke was checking in. The receptionist obviously had no idea who he was, he was with his manager and as he stood there is his fitted black suit, black shirt and long black hair all over the place, she said 'which one of you is Mr Clarke?

    Maybe it was the inspiration for this...

    Went to Johnny Marr on Wednesday at Welly. The guy is even better then I thought.

    I went, was a great evening.

    He's the best guitarist ever imo. (I know that's sacrilege, but whatever)

    Hopefully he's stayed in Hull and makes a cameo at Liam's gig tomorrow <laugh>

    What's the Polar Bear like as a venue?

    I was a big Mallory Knox fan and they are about to release a new album and go on tour without the lead singer who left the band.

    Debating whether to go.

    Went to see Sharon Van Etten in Leeds last night, another cracking evening, might've been the best gig I've been to this year so far. Absolutely ****ing shattered and hungover now, but completely worth it.

    Saw Blossoms at Lincoln Engine Shed on Wednesday. They were great.

    Had only been to the Engine Shed for comedy upstairs previously, it's a nice little venue.
