What a game, how did we win that!? Scored three and held on for the ride I suppose. Excellent result against a very good side.
Nay, nay and thrice Nay.. Gillingham 3 - 1 Oxford = Deserved Gillingham 10 - 0 Oxford = A tad more deserved. Blackpool 1 - 4 Ipshit = pure unadulterated luck, jammy %%&&**&$s, daylight robbery, travesty of justice.....you get my opinion on this by any chance?
I'm really proud of what the lads have achieved, without doubt Oxford were a very good side, their position in the league is not great, but at some point they are going to turn a corner and come tearing up the table. We were very lucky, but we also worked hard defensively. Sometimes I might give an odd contrary view on certain players and I don't rate Jack Bonham and Oliver exactly the same as others, but what's important here is we are a 'TEAM' and those players who I may suggest need to improve, will do so, and rightly reap the praise in the same way, yesterday was a great team showing, not for the first time this season. We are never going to be able to compete financially with clubs like Hull and Sunderland, but one thing is for sure, we are not here to roll over for anyone, and the proof in that is we are sitting 4th the table.
Not a fan of Oliver? He's joint second in the league for most assists so far. Only Joe Pigott has more assists in League One than Vadaine Oliver proving it's not all about goals scored
Nah I actually like him, I know, I know I just think his workrate could be better. I'm more disappointed with Samuels, especially on Saturday when he was through, ok the opposition narrowed the gap/angle, but putting the ball through to Oliver, would have been a far better option, than going for goal. So it's also about the service Oliver is getting. As the season goes on and the winter draws in, we are going to need the big man, I think it's then he will come into his own, once the pitch gets chewed up a bit. What I'm really pleased about is we are a team, so it don't matter if Oliver don't score, unlike the days or er.....what's his name now....begins with a C...Cod...nah completely forgotten Edit; I forgot to mention I did put Oliver and Samuels as my top two for MOM the other week, so i'm not completely heartless. #bantz
Don't rate Bonham Must be a joke. Best keeper since Nelson. Been terrific since been at club. We will struggle to keep him as contract finishes in summer
Most people don't agree with me mate, but it wasn't a joke. I don't rate him, but we all have different opinions, that's good - ask peg leg. Tbph best keeper since Nelson is only reflective of two seasons, Nelson was an excellent keeper by the way However, even Evans commented when Bonham was praised by the media, Evans praised and placed more focus on the Oxford keeper, which was my general point.
Gio my friend, just take brb's opinions with a pinch of salt. He's got a habit of making wild statements like "I don't see Joe Martin as a left back", bearing in mind this was at the start of the 2012/13 season when Martin finished in the League Two team of the year . Like I say, his word isn't gospel
Southgate's been putting poisoned mushrooms in his pizzas ! How on Earth can he defend the performance by the England football team ? He said he was ''Proud'' - I sometimes am proud of my own farts !! The average grade, for the English lads, was 3.6 **out of 10.... If I got that sort of score at school, my dad would have kicked my backside all over the place............. which wasn't too far from what McGuire was doing to the Danish defence. ---- £ 80 Million ?? I could offer to lend Southgate 2/6 ( 12.5 pence). He could buy a better centre back - and still have change. ** McGuire only got 1.67.... even my farts are at least 4 out of 10 !
I'm proud of him (see alwaysright post above this).... Then I gave myself a slap, and laughed £80M See I'm 'always right' about players, take no notice of that @The Gills PegLeg he's probably been drinking too much beer
*hic* I knows he's speaks rubbish like *hic* I zinks the price tag is toooo heavy I do *hic* for old Hizzle Mag to deal with *hic* Anymore booze going?
I haven't got a clue - but he's cost Man Ure a lot of money ---- they could have bought O'Givile for tuppence- and still got the same amount of fart.
