    Kind of ended up hero and villain for us, which I always thought was a shame for what he did in a hooped shirt. He was a good leader on the pitch too.

    Me too but i've seen enough videos and read enough accounts to know how good he was.

    Wish i'd been able to see some of our legends for real.

    Mr Marsh was my first footballing hero. As a youngster I joined his fan club, got my poster and membership excitedly ... then he left for Man City!

    He was my 1st footballing hero, that day at Wembley 67 is still my favourite footballing moment I even called our dog Rodney, cried my bloody eyes out when he left for city
