Well that remains to be seen, thank you very much.

I mean it wasn't exactly very "good" for our Lord and Saviour Jesus, if you believe in him/her/it that is. I'm sure if he/she/it did walk this flat Earth then he/she/it would not want to be compartmentalised and would embrace non-binary gender fluidity.

Does anyone on here believe in God? I consider myself to be an agnostic as no-one, if they're being honest with themselves, can say for certain whether a God exists or not. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle said that if there was something after death that he would return and tell us all about it. He hasn't been back, not to my knowledge anyway, but that doesn't mean that there isn't an afterlife and a God he just maybe isn't allowed to return.

I absolutely believe that the human race is descended from aliens and that the Gods that are widely reported throughout history around the world in the skies are indeed alien spacecraft. It's the only plausible explanation.

Anyway, I'm off to decorate my egg, I'll probably just paint a big cock and fanny on it and then roll it down some poxy hill or something. Alternatively, I may just get a few beers in and watch "The Greatest Story Ever Told" - "truly this man was the son of God"

    Work?

    God, that's so 2019.

Within the next 10 years work will not exist and humanoids will be superfluous. Everything will be automated and run by computers. This is fact.

So 2014 in my case. That's when I gave up running a full time business and went semi retired. It's the perfect balance really.

I've been mostly idle since Christmas so the bank Holiday won't affect me. I don't really bother about pagan festivals either so it's just another weekend tbh.

Nice and sunny here this morning so if it stays that way I'll cut the grass this afternoon then probably sit in the sunshine with a small libation and a good book.

That sounds idyllic to be honest <ok>

First thing this morning it was really cold here, like yesterday. Come lunchtime though the weather was absolutely gorgeous, so hopefully today will be the same.

No wind either, most unlike Aberdoom <laugh>

Oh, meant to ask, did you watch The Third Man last night, I know you love that film, like myself. Joseph Cotten, Trevor Howard and the wonderful Orson Welles.

I didn't but I saw your thread on it. Classic movie, one of the best but actually not my favourite Welles flick. A touch of Evil is my pick for best Orson film. Then The Third man followed by Citizen Kane. All three are excellent though.

I actually watched a small indie film called Pickings last night which I found to be quite good.

I watched The Accountant last night, never realised how violent the world of bookkeeping is.

It will be well after lunch before I even contemplate getting out the lawnmower.

Only Irish fools cut grass before noon.

@Mick O'Toon you know who you are.

Hake is nice. Not had it for years tbh. Last time I ate it was in Corfu or some similar Grecian paradise.

Orson Welles was a fantastic actor and director. All three of those films are ground breaking.

Years ahead of his time <ok>
