I'm not 100% sure but there was a club a couple of years ago wanted to bring someone in and couldn't because they'd named an extra keeper in their 25 man squad. So they had to play him. You can name an under 21 keeper on the bench as u21 players don't have to be named in the 25 man squad but can still play. We will have Freddie Woodman on the bench.
