Is that cos Colback was stuck in his back pocket and probably still is? I don;t wish injury on most players but I have a list - includes people like Raheem Sterling (serial divers and the like). And, whilst I laugh at the situation it's left newcastle in, I don;t laugh at the players injury! You have to say, if the tables were turned, you'd be the same!
I wish them more injury woes, so long as it doesn't threaten careers, cause mags will throw them out on their ear. That's really out of order but it doesn't seem to bother Newcastle United, even if it's cancer. Laughing at player from a relegation rival missing the back end of the season is nowt.
You can laugh at the situation but I would never laugh at a long term (well any really) injury which is inflicted upon someone. For a relegation rival, our goalkeeper plight is hilarious. If the roles were reversed, I'd be the same.
There's no pride in keeping Colback in your back pocket, he's ****e! Borini is the whiniest, softest, most annoying, diving cheat I've seen at St James' (yes that includes Steven Taylor). I can laugh at my arch rivals awful position without actually taking glee at a person being injured and wishing they "don't walk again until next season". That's just spiteful and immature.
It's a shame he's injured, but it certainly doesn't do us any harm. He saved a point in the derby game with his saves from Rodwell and PVA, which were top drawer. Wouldn't wish it on any player, but part of me is a bit pleased if I'm honest...
Lets be honest we're all over the moon hes injured. Hes one of our biggest relegation rivals key players. Elliotts just a name to me, i dont know the bloke personally, so therefore i have no sympathy for him or Newcastle. Their loss could be our gain, and ill take every slight advantage i can this stage of the season.
