Reported that we are interested in him. Possibly along with 745.876 other players. But do you think you will let him go? If so, permanently or just on loan. Supposed to have had a good season on loan last year at Derby but how do you lot see him or have you never actually seen him. All comments welcome even Z’s but could someone translate for MITO, thanks.
Dickhead I think we'd sell him tbh. I don't see him getting much game time with us. I don't think he's good enough for you guys either but your standard is Steve Bruce so...
Looks decent enough but maybe bit lightweight. Not particularly quick so not sure will do brilliantly out wide. Got good free kick on him though. Decent squad player, wouldn’t be a star yet though
I think there is something there with this lad. He just needs coaching but it's obvious the talent is there. You cannot coach the talent he has. What's he worth? Man United paid £18 million for Dan James who scored 4 goals in the championship. Harry Wilson scored 18. Harry Wilson also scored against Man United and Chelsea in the cups. Both are the same age too. It's Harry Wilson and not Dan James that is the youngest Wales international at 16. Before anyone says he had to play for Wales in order to qualify for Wales is 100% wrong. They are confusing 100% Welshman Harry Wilson with Nottingham born, Chester raised Benjamin Woodburn. He declared for Wales despite being English. I think there seriously is a very good player there.
My guess is we would be looking to sell rather than loan. Wilson is never going to make it as first choice for a top 6 team but could be a very useful regular for someone like yourselves as he can score plus takes a good FK and proved last year that he had the stamina to play a full competitive season. My only proviso is that he seems a bit limited in general play.
How the **** could he be 'limited in general play' when he scored more goals last season than most strikers. He scored goals because He was constantly involved So how was he limited in general play?
lost the ball in possession a lot and his passing was sloppy. Did you actually watch many Derby games or know many Derby fans ?
and some pens. I actually saw quite a few Derby games plus due to work i know a number of Derby ST holders (plus @Jimmy Squarefoot ) so got quite a few reviews so do have a reasonable view of his season which was probably better than some reckon but not as good as his stats may have people believe .
A few pens. and a few free kicks but some nice finishes as well. The general consensus seems to question if he is good enough for the Prem. If he isn't then he's worth a good few million. #winwin
Pretty much what I think He's obviously technically gifted and can strike a ball really well but his decision making can be poor and I also think he'd struggle physically to make the step up to Premier League level. I think he deserves a chance though but can't see him making a massive impact at PL level.
A lot of young players struggle with decision making, that sort of thing can be improved and isn't too concerning imo. Sterling is a good example of it tbh, always had that label but just kept getting better with it with experience. I'd be disappointed if he didn't stay with us this season.
I hope he stays and fights for a place. Kid has a lot of talent and if anyone can bring that out it's Klopp.
