perez has given up. the fake radio crap has been ignored and he's just dumped it off and will take 3rd.
thats it then. poor old piastri will end up nowhere due to team putting hard hard on the car. verstappen has a big enough gap to mind the tyres and perez is cruising about behind le clearc waiting for his tyres to fall apart.
the rules shouldnhange on front wing damage. we are now constantly seeing trams run damaged wings and have no issue as the end plate seems a regulatory requirement for outwash rather than any benefit to the aero on the car itself. verstappen wash probably makes it slightly harder to follow him if anything.
le clerc tyres don't seem to be up to it. the fake radio messages again by red bull if they were seriously they'd drop to 0.8 seconds gap and drs it
perez leaves the door wide open. all he needed to do was force le clerc to go round the outside. poor driver. Well done le clerc but the decision to not pit destroyed him.
Well done but perez left the door wide open and he should have just forced le clerc to go the other side. it's only a couple.corners then to the line.
Perez career at Red Bull should end after that. Woeful. To rub salt into this torturous season, we’ve then got Crofty with his contrived, pre-planned, height of his wittynesss “What Verst-happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”. Pass me the ****ing sick bucket. Never has there been a bigger idiot in a Formula 1 commentary box.
I really wonder if there will be another race here. contract sure but the disruption of the business is the question. note the excess of the limo and verstappen with the big **** off watch attached le.clerc has one too. perez was given a swatch or something
so big old interviews. all drivers repeating coached lines to be very complimentary have to watch the fountains no podium for ages. still nonpodium as apparently they have to drive back again with drivers trying to make up chat that they really are.not bothered with. so far removed from real racing it's untrue.
I feel sorry for his Girlfriend as well . look who she has as a Father , and if they get married what a Father in Law
I have to say despite all the negativity around the event, the race itself was quite good and the track isn’t terrible. I am a big fan of Singapore (before this year’s changes) and whilst not as good, I do think this has a similar feel rather than being a Valencia, and it’s probably better than both Jeddah and Azerbaijan from the current street tracks. What made it for me, was that later in the race it did seem that tyre performances, ebbed and flowed, rather than just constantly declining and I do think this is the direction F1 needs to go in if it’s to become less predictable. I do wonder how long it will be before there’s a better penalty system invented for these dodgy overtakes, RedBull the latest in a long line of teams to try to take advantage this week.
Enjoyed that. Brilliant from Charles, despite having no luck as ever. That banzai last lap was magnificent.
