    Every Son Hat-Trick for Spurs:


    Worth watching, even if it's just for the last goal, which has most of the passes included.
    Every outfield player has at least one touch and the final ball from Porro is superb.

    It really was - vision and execution!
    The pass he delivered up to Sonny that led to the first was excellent too.
    He's starting to show a lot more to his game - and genuine competition for the RB slot will be good.

    To move towards peak Barca tika-taka levels, the squad will
    have to work on those passes in their third being faster.
    On that basis I expect a couple of goals will be
    conceded this month there against the usual suspects
    (who will press faster and closer during the first half) .

    He’s so technically sound it’s crazy. I’d say he’s up there with Maddison and Perisic with regards to outright technical ability.

    If he could work on the defensive side of his game he’d be practically the perfect FB.

    I hold my hand up and say I thought Sonny did not have it in him to be our skipper because he was too nicer guy , wtf do I know ,he's taken to it very well
    Points in the game today apart from scoring where he was looking out for the youngsters ,stepping in when Romero started to get a bit lively , just what was needed in the heat of the game

    If we are going down the mea culpa route then I will freely admit that I thought the appointment was off as well. But to be fair, the Sonny of the past, whether playing well or meh, had never displayed any leadership abilities beyond his status and skill.

    Couple of reflections:

    Is City's defence really as good as everyone says it has been over the years, or are teams just scared of attacking them?
