I have been offline today. As the loan window opened today, could someone bring me up to date with all the quality players we have borrowed to fuel a late surge for a play-off place?
Mark Robson is the new first team coach at Villa. Always thought he was a good coach but has had some bad luck; Pardew probably didn't help his progress and he way he was treated at Barnet was a farce. Robbo was on the programme of the first Valley game I went to (against Grimsby winter 1996).
Grimsby was my first Valley game too. August 1957. Won 2-0, both from Stuart Leary, one curled in direct from a corner. I always sensed we had more in common besides our undying admiration of Chris Powell.
Pigott scores again but can't prevent Southend losing 4-2 as former Charlton loanee Dean Parrett gets Stevenage's 4th. And former Charlton loanee Nathan Eccleston scores for Kilmarnock in a 3-3 thriller at Inverness. .........and another clean sheet for Nick Pope, who also received fulsome praise from his manager.
Shocked Dean Parret is still only 23. He's like the new Obafemi Martins. Whatever happened to Michael Stewart?
We were his final club last time I checked (think some point last year, or when we signed Lepoint and I sought better options).
So the 'wall have sacked Ollie - not too surprised, disappointed definitely. Neil Harris replaces him until the end of the season.
It's just what Newcastle did when they appointed Shearer as manager a few years back. Let's hope the same happens at Millwall as happened there.
Anyone else watch Jenkinson playing for England u21s against Germany? He was superb. For once I agreed with the commentators' Man of the Match. When we got 1 million for him I thought it was a good deal. Many more performances like that and he will be in the 10 million bracket. Neither England nor Arsenal have an established RB. The pathway is there for him.
Supporters of at least five clubs would disagree. Derby were my pick to win the division too, but never "easily". Chris Martin was my choice as Championship top scorer, but his injuries have hit Derby hard.
My choice at the start was Wigan. Such a fantastic league to be part of that I don't particularly want us to ever get promoted.
Several posters thought the same, while MikeTyson and I had them as play-off winners, Painful as it is to be a Charlton or Millwall supporter, what must the fans of Wigan, Fulham, Reading and Bolton be feeling?
Did everyone see Gemma Arterton in the papers today? Best pair up top since Bartlett and Johansson? http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/gemma-arterton-risks-nip-slip-5508313
