Nah, pleased for the lad himself that he's done alright at Hull so far, but he had options to leave last summer after Koeman and the club told him he had no future at Goodison.
Tobes and have different views on the lad. I would have kept him, Koeman didn't fancy him. He at least managed to score against the RS.....something only a backup CB has managed for Everton. He would have made us less reliant on Rom....another option. But when he goes I will be thinking.....he paid for Lookman. So in the end all is balanced

Think he is talking about/moaning about Koeman not signing a new deal with Southampton and leaving for Everton. Maybe the millions paid by Everton to Southampton for the remaining games year of his deal should have gone to fund a Southampton 'type' manager?
