Why do you keep saying that about a number 9. We’ve got TC who will bang in loads and few others. Or are you doing a Bobby Reid v Taylor rubbish again.

TC is our No9, he scored a dozen last season in his first full season despite being injured for a sizeable part of it. All things being equal he could well get 20 or thereabouts. Bell as well knows where the net is. We don’t need more forwards imo

What do you consider TC then if not a No 9?, these days their shirt number means nothing.

Literally Cornick is our No 9, I was asking what role does TC play if it’s not that of a number 9

Now Now I would love us to go get Stewart at Sunderland that is a No 9 before Boro-Stoke-Southampton if we sell Scott that would be a cracking signing

That would be awesome but I can’t see them selling him and even if they did I don’t imagine he would want to come here anyway, and he’d probably cost as much as we hopefully get for Scott

We could afford that, it but you have to ask why he would want to leave a team that made the play-offs last season, to come to us, who most of us fans don’t think will even be a top 10 side this season??
Having money to spend doesn’t mean players want to come, we saw that under SC with the Gayle and Gray fiasco.

Totally agree, plus a player which cost that much wouldn’t fall within our maximum wage structure, he’d want far more than we’d be able to pay.

This is third run through there is on reflection a negative bias on BCFC which manually checking through the "IMO" results [ random ] for BCFC / Huddersfield / Hull/ Sheff / Stoke / QPR fixtures shows up so BCFC could finish 6 points higher ... in grouping above. editted against SUPER C

    LEICESTER
    SOUTHAMPTON

    MIDDLESBRO............... 5
    LEEDS............................. 7
    NORWICH ..................... 9
    WEST BROM.................. 15
    7th COVENTRY ................... 11
    13 points spread

    3pts gap
    8th MILLWALL .................. 6
    3 pts gap

    9th to 14th
    WATFORD .................... 21
    BIRMINGHAM .............. 17
    BLACKBURN................... 14
    IPSWICH ........................ 13
    SUNDERLAND ............... 10
    STOKE .............................. 3

    [ 7 pts spread ]

    15th to 20th

    BRISTOL CITY ............... 4
    SHEFF WED.................... 12
    SWANSEA ...................... 19
    HULL ............................. 22
    CARDIFF ......................... 23
    ROTHERHAM ................ 20

    all on same points

    RELEGATION bottom 4
    PLYMOUTH .................24
    QPR ................................. 18
    HUDDERSFIELD ........... 8
    PRESTON ....................... 16

note from 15th to 20th is just 2 pts spread and 3 pts adrift
bottom 4 on same points 4 pts adrift

AFTER doing a random check on personal preference of City results Huddersfield/ PNE/Swansea/Birmingham and BCFC would be slightly higher

I could be very wrong here, but I don’t see Leicester being top 2, top 6 at best for me.

Possibly, but they are broke, all their PP money is covering their interest and debts. They have raised a lot in player sales, but I guess they will need that to pay current wages etc. They will also have a pretty much brand new team as they have sold/released so many players. That will take time for a new team to gel, so a slow start is likely. Of all the relegated teams, I think they're in the most financial peril.
