Congratulations boys you lot deserve a bit of good fortune. Stuck in the Championship for ages then back to back promotions You did it the right way
I certainly never called your family anything, most of the Ipswich fans have been good humoured over the run in, shame you have to spoil it. Oh well, have your fun
Spanish, apparently it’s all your fault that Leeds’ run in was spoiled. Have you been advising Farke on his tactics? You sly bugger!
What a day, what a team. We are premier league. In the 18 months that my nephew has been a season ticket holder, he has seen 2 promotions and only 1 defeat. I’ve told him, it’s not supposed to be like this following Ipswich. Absolutely buzzing tonight - 194 points in the last 2 seasons, that has to be some sort of record. KMC, Ashton, players all deserve all the plaudits that are coming their way.
We are Prmeier Leahue say we are Peemoer league! Sorry several beers deep in the Ipswich so hope this auto currects okay!
Isn't it great that we can now sit back and watch our feathered friends,(we all hate)Leeds,WBA and Saints fight to the death for "the biggest prize in football" knowing we've already won it!?
Welcome back from a long drive home, bet it was one helluva celebration down Suffolk! Did anyone see the twitter footage of the team in the dressing room, absolute mayhem!
OK,own up which of you reprobates wrote this and passed yourself off as an impartial Gruaniad journalist?? https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ield-championship-premier-league-match-report
Brilliant piece BigAl! Sums it all up very well. This para says it all. "The whistle blows and the fans stream on to the turf like a wave, like the same wave that washed this small-town club from the League One relegation zone to the tropical shores of the Premier League." And he emphasises all the qualities needed for such a meteoric rise but especially, we now have Hope.
The above was posted before reading anything on here, now it's time to go back in time and see how it played out with those that watched it live
It was awesome! Very professional, well managed and no dramas. We outplayed a poor Uddersfield And Walton came on last 5 mins, taking a bow perhaps.
Thanks Gaffer, great day out although I was home by 8.30 - can’t quite do all day drinking these days! Looking at that message last night, I meant I hoped the auto correction kicked in to correct some of my misspelt words. My fingers get too fat after I’ve had a few Brilliant day, brilliant result, and a brilliant season. Roll on next August!
