Should ensure Sam Byram is en route as soon as the loan window opens if so http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/chris-hughton-applies-for-leeds-united-job/?
Can easily see it happening, he can certainly take the pressure as he showed at Newcastle, and as Drunky pointed out, he´s well used to this division, and his safety first approach might be just what they need to begin stabilizing themselves. I wouldn´t begrudge him success, just a pity if it happens to be with Leeds though.
He only spent 1 season with a talented Newcastle squad ,would he be able to replicate that success with Leeds? No.
Not just with Newcastle, he turned a very poor Birmingham team with no money to spend and got them in the play offs, as I've said, he knows this league very well and knows what he is doing.
I stand corrected Drunky ,completely forgot about that maybe we should of kept him he would do great for us?
I believe a certain manager or player is a right fit for some clubs, sadly Hughton wasn't the right fit for us but it doesn't mean he's a bad manager, as his record in the Championship proves.
Whilst also competing in the Europa league an unable to make any signing due to their dreadful owner. It didn't work out with us but he was doing a very good job with Birmingham.
The job he did with Birmingham is what led us all to think he'd be great for us. The first season was alright but he just didn't know how to take us forward/was unwilling to be more adventurous and it cost him.
No previous evidence can persuade me he is anything but useless, the man systematically stripped our team of; flair, spirt, goals and ideas. He is extraordinarily limited and Leeds would be shopping for a new manager by January, if not sooner! Bah! P.s. He is nice though so I hope does well (given it would be him and Leeds, I'll let you all guess how sincere that is!)
