Evening all, hope you're all not suffering too badly after last nights latest dose of despair!

According to the HDM article below, a section of just under 40 city fans are planning on protesting Allam Marine in an effort to disrupt their business (flow of staff/distribution).

    Source: https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/hull-city-protest-allam-marine-4358379

What are your guys thoughts on it? I'm personally not sure where I stand, protesting the clubs seems frivolous at this point at the Allam's dont care what we think, affecting their main source of income, I can see the appeal to this.

However football aside they've done a lot of philanthropy for the city and I feel this may be a step too far.

Would love to hear you guys thoughts on the matter.

    Cheers,
    BlindRat

This should be one of many things we should be arranging.

I know the HCST are calling on fans to get behind the club but I'd go the other direction. Step up the protests, billboards, posters, anything we can legally get away with to drive the bastard's out.

I understand the sentiment, I'd love to see em **** off.

But with several donations to hospitals amongst other things, do you think its justified to attack something that has essentially improved other elements of society in Hull, over football?

We wouldn't be attacking them for their good deeds. No one can knock them for that.

But good deeds aside, what they're doing to Hull City and the fan base is appalling.

I struggle with sarcasm, but if a genuine question then none. I just enjoy reading the feedback from the genuine fans on this forum than I do the most media outlets.

Could not agree more, that way they have treated and the club and its fan base is abhorrent.

However the bottom line is that Allam's' represent more to our community than just it's football club through other charitable work. I'm just not sure that it sits right in me our fan base to essentially cause potential damage to something that in other ways have benefited the city, and be detrimental to bunch of people who might not even care about football.

I understand the sentiment, but for me the problem with disrupting the business is that it isn't just Ehab and Assem that work there (if they actually do any work). If you're stopping warehouse workers etc doing their job it isn't really on.

Protesting outside their house would be better, albeit a bit more personal.

There’s probably a Castle Hill forum somewhere, where you’ll find lots of people grateful for his generosity, but this is a Hull City forum, so everyone just thinks he’s a ****.

    my opinion.
TBH I think the set of them are a bunch of vindictive ****s and would love to see them go under, and suffer for it.

I just want to hear the opinion of others to base my opinion.

I some what agree, because it will effectively affect the working class.
But I guess its a question of what is the greater good? The welfare of what those will effectively struggle from such action, or the benefit of our (football club).

Or do morals rise above all and **** the ****s

    Tricky one.

I'd always put people above a game, but rest assured that is just me and I'm a bit of a flid when it comes to this sort of thing.

I love our club and I hate those pricks, so anything done to damage them personally suits me down to the ground (bar actually physically harming them).
