I know most of you probably aren't interested about this and think it's a stupid topic but I know i'm always interested to find out each year what are our players ratings and how they compare to rival players.

As the Beta came out yesterday the player rating database is out which i think covers most of the players on the game, although they are not 100% accurate they give you a pretty good indication as to what they will be.

    Huddlestone CM - 77 (0)
    Figueroa CB - 76 (0)
    Livermore CDM - 74 (+1)
    Graham ST - 74 (-2)
    McGregor GK - 74 (0)
    Koren CAM - 73 (0)
    Sagbo ST - 73 (0)
Elmo RM - 72 (0) - For me deserves an upgrade, player of the season and proved to be the best RB/RWB in the league last year
    Boyd CAM - 71 (+1)
Davies CB - 71 (-3) - For me the doesn't deserve to go down was Birmingham's POTS and if anything deserves an upgrade
Aluko ST - 71 (-1) - Proved best player in championship, although was injured for half the season a downgrade is harsh (He's moved from RM to ST though!)
Chester CB - 70 (+1) - Needs to be higher
Brady LM - 70 (+2) - Needs to be higher
    Fryatt ST - 70 (-1)
    Faye CB - 70 (0)
    Harper GK - 69 (-2)

    Rosenior RB - 67 (-1)
    Proschwitz ST - 66 (-3)
    Jakupovic GK - 66 (-3)

How Aluko,Quinniesta and Davies have gone down is beyond me. As you said Brady and Chester should have gone up a bit more.

How Elmo and McShane hasn't gone up at all is mystery as well...

Aluko was classified as a striker too I think along with being in the midfield. Am knocking off buying Fifa till the new consoles come out as I've heard it's going to be incredible next gen. Got to say though those ratings are very low so don't think I will be playing as us online much.

I'm getting it on 360 - they can **** off if they think I'm going to spend £450 on a new console.

Did you watch him for every game we played?

Thought not. So you have no idea.

You probably think Knockaert is better.

Ross McCormack said Aluko when asked on twitter who the best player in the championship was. I think I'll take his judgement over yours!

It's alright, AKCJ's and Proud Fox still think Gedo is an unknown Egyptian who won't do anything, Leicester will finish second and we wont make the top 6.

    Come on Macca.

You're starting to sound like Tickler, Charlie and Patty.

How the **** can you prove yourself as the best player in the Championship when you don't even play half the season? Think.

There were plenty of better players last season.

When Knockaert is given a free role, I think he's miles better.

But unfortunately it's rare that Nige does that. When he does, he annihilates defences.

For me, he was the best player in the Championship until his injury.

Unfortunately I have to agree, a player can not be regarded the best when he only featured 50% of the time. If he played the full season, who knows?

    You lost it right there.

Proof that your own bias is shining through as much as ours.

That's fair enough, it's your opinion.

For me, Matej Vydra or Chalobah were miles too good for this league and were head and shoulders above the rest. Whittingham, Zaha, Bolasie and Morgan were probably leading the chasing pack. But it's all opinion <cheers>

Did anyone sign Chalobah this transfer window on loan? Wonder if he'll get game time at Chelsea or if he'll go to a Championship side again to continue his development.

    Absolutely.

But i'm not claiming he's the best proven player in the Championship, Aluko is miles off IMO. He wouldn't have been if he played every game either.

It's also my opinion that Knockaert is a better player in the free role as his goals and assists proved <ok>

Nice of you to avoid my entire argument. Do you really believe that Aluko was the best player in the Championship last season?

I think he's still at Chelsea. So Watford might go back for him in a week.
