Oh well, if a retired joiner says this is the solution for Hulls traffic problems... http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/how-...c-nightmares/story-30239680-detail/story.html If this had been run tomorrow I honestly would've thought it was a wind up.
It seems we have a new fan... THINGS YOU PROBABLY DON’T KNOW ABOUT HULL, ENGLAND http://www.dangerous-business.com/2017/03/visiting-hull-england/
I think it's interesting to read the views of someone who - seemingly - had zero preconceptions about the place and treated it purely on merit and experience. So many people have already made their mind up about Hull before they have visited. At the last place I worked there were 2 girls who took the piss saying the usual "Hull is a ****hole" etc, etc before later admitting they a) knew nothing about it and b) have never been. That is so often the case and really ****ing frustrating. If you've been and didn't like it - fine - but don't decide somewhere is **** before you've been there.
I cant believe that Angus has written and filed it. If he starts doing work like this the HDM is truly ****ed.
There was actually a plan for an elevated road, many decades ago, but it was scrapped due to cost. The city centre would have been a far better place now had it gone ahead.
Taking the piss... Urinals turned into works of art for City of Culture Fountain 17 exhibition http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/urin...0240865-detail/story.html#egs733MZg1xbCu78.99
The Admiral of the Humber is becoming a hotel with three floors of rooms and a roof terrace hence the work going on - classy!
I had a look on KUMB for the West Ham view of Saturday and they couldn't believe the price of a pint in there.
They all seem quite impressed with their trip up to civilisation. I thought Lanzini was by far their best player, he looks a bit of a bargain at £7.5m.
