3-5-2 FACT and we win 3-1

Grant McCann has revealed that Tom Eaves could return to the squad for Hull City’s upcoming Championship game against Bristol City, while defender Alfie Jones has also taken an important step in his recovery.

After a hard-fought battle against Reading at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, McCann was pleased to come through that game without picking up any fresh injuries.

“Everyone we had last weekend (against Reading) is fit and available again for this weekend,” McCann said.

“The likes of Brandon Fleming, Matt Smith, Tyler Smith and Tom Huddlestone have had another week of training. Tom Eaves was back out on the grass yesterday (Wednesday) which is another plus for us.

“Alfie Jones has been out on the grass doing a little bit of running - he’s getting closer. It’s such a busy and hectic period that the more players we have fit and available, the better we can be.”

McCann was keen to highlight left-back Fleming, who has not made an appearance for the Tigers since the Carabao Cup game against Wigan Athletic back in August.

“It’ll be good to give Brandon some minutes on Monday,” McCann added.

“We’ve got an Under-23s game at York against Peterborough United. He’ll play in that game, and quite a few of the other first-team players will play in that as well.”

So Nigel is returning, he seems to have reasonable positive memories about his stay with us, hopefully, we can send him and his team home with nothing to celebrate.

Would like a win but wouldn't be disappointed to draw tbh, keep the undefeated run going, been much much better since the change in formation which makes it even more mystifying he didnt go to it sooner and by choice

    We’ll lose…of course we will

If we don’t it’s only because I’m not there and they’ve decided to win to annoy me

    At least I won’t miss new owners…

I'm looking forward to this one, if we play anything like, we should get a result. But there again, you never know, I trust he will stick with 352, seeing Coyle and Emmanual are unavailable. It's a bit worrying that we are not hearing anything about how Emmanuel is, and whether he is going to get back playing again any time soon?

Same lineup as last week? I suppose Wilks scoring means he gets another start, I'd have him on the bench personally.
I'll go big, City 3-0, goals from KLP, Honeyman and Greaves. :emoticon-0104-surpr

Given how good we looked against peterboro until hudd went off I'd love to see him start. smallwood has been playing his best game for us lately. So probably unfair to drop him, but i think we could really push on if hudd can keep clear of injury

The likelihood is that during the Xmas period, Tom H and Smallwood will be rotated, I would expect Smallwood to keep his place today.

I think so too and fair enough. But imagine what a 2nd half of the season we could have with a couple of additions and hopefully both our right backs fit and well
