response needed from manager and players. Get Burke back in for a start. Response given City 2-0 horrible ****s.
Or the team that turned up for the first half of the season are back. We'll be nervous, they will come for a point = crap game. 0-0
We’ll look nervy We’ll look good when we have it our own way, but look poor when they bring it to us We’ll only show heart from a couple of players We’ll look like we know we’re staying mid table and lots of players will be happy for someone else to do the hard stuff thank you very much We’ll lose 0-1
I noted Neil Harris was telling Millwall at half time on Saturday that they needed to remember what Millwall are all about. So we can expect a reaction from them. We'll need to show much more backbone than in the last 2 matches, whoever plays.
Been away for a week or two, just catching up.Has Marc Pugh done enough to merit a start? Seems to have only had about an hour so far and I reckon we could do with some fresh faces/legs.
Can't say I remmber him at Bournemouth but what I've seen so far Ivenot been impressed. Hopefully he's getting fitter and used to the players around him and will kick on. Fingers crossed.
And half time is about 5 mins (+injury time) after one of us has gone to queue use for a half timer. The Second half does vary depending on the speed of the service at the bar.
With Stewart & Batty still out we'll need Bowen & Turbo to get revved up again. Millwall are not confident about their first choice keeper it seems. Burke in hopefully, Ridgewell & Mackenzie are like our 4th choice CB partnership doesn't look as if they're clicked. De Wjies & Burke would be ideal
That's a shame, as I'm not so quick these days. To be honest, I can't even remember last time I attended KC. And unlikely to do so anytime soon. In fact, if the Allams don't **** off soon there's a real chance I won't even be arsed to press the red button. BTW, just went on the OWS to see if anything mentioned on there. You know, the website that's still hullcitytigers.com Hey, but at least some are placated, even happy and excited !!!, as 'we' will soon have another new crest thanks to the kindness of our owners. Beggars belief to me, but hey ho. Fair play to those that can still stomach going to home games. I can't, but each to their own. p.s. Championship games are on Sky and there is a red button tonight. Just not sure if City are included with it being re-arranged.
It seems they have. I see and hear comments about looking forward to the launch, buying merchandise with it on, how good it looks, things now moving in the right direction, we should be grateful they are making an effort, etc etc. OK, maybe not placated as in 'now happy with everything', but certainly sucked in and duped by the Allams. We had a crest, Allams removed it in an act of utter disrespect, including to remove our club name & nickname, replacing it with their abomination, then embarked on an utterly ridiculous journey to eventually put something else in place to placate fans. All totally unnecessary, and remembering that the new incarnation bears the blood of the original spiteful, disrespectful, shameful act. I know that to many the badge is perhaps down their list of priorities, but to me the removal by the Allams of the crest was a sword into the very heart of our club. The only way to repair the damage would have been to apologise and re-instate what was there when they first took custody of 'our' club. Yes, there are many other crimes they've committed against 'our' club, some of which are arguably more heinous, but this to me is right up there ... and yes, many have fallen for it.
We really need a win just to show that the wheels have not fully come off and that they are not just coasting mentally to the end of the season. A losing streak can pull you back down if your not careful, we are not safe yet, so need to start picking up points again. Let's hope Burke and Wijs if they play can bring some stability to the defence and keep a clean sheet.
Other, bigger clubs, have changed their badge down the years. We have changed our badge down the years. Other clubs have the date of their foundation on the badge. Some clubs don't have the name of the club on the badge, Spurs. Derby, Wolves...I don't think the badge is that high up on the things afflicting out club. My only gripe with it is that the tiger is a fearsome beast and ours has the expression of a friendly tabby cat.
